Join Us for a Challenger Chat with the National Institute of Aerospace (NIA) on October 16

We’re excited to invite you to a Challenger Chat featuring representatives from the National Institute of Aerospace (NIA). This engaging discussion will focus on the Spotlite Design Challenge, a key initiative within NIA. Recently, the Education Team and members at NIA collaborated to create 2 separate Spotlite Design Challenges related to our missions Observation Earth and Earth Odyssey. These activities can be used as post-mission content for all Centers in our network.

The NASA Spotlites Design Challenge is part of the Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Science (ROSES) grant from NASA. In this collaborative effort between NIA and Challenger Center, students become content creators, developing short videos to address and correct widely recognized science misconceptions. These student-produced videos, created from script to screen in various educational settings, undergo review and approval by NASA before being featured in the NASA eClips library.
